Get hands-on help with Vocordia
Employees can follow this guide step by step - or open a ticket and wait for support.
Or they can finish inside the app.
Vocordia gives voice and cursor guidance directly inside the tools they already use - just say what they need, and Vocordia shows them where to click, step by step, without leaving the window.
How to Autofill in Google Sheets
Google Sheets autofills with the **fill handle** for dragging patterns and formulas, plus **Smart Fill** that suggests values based on examples you've typed.
Use the fill handle
- Type a value or formula in a cell.
- Hover the small blue square in the bottom-right of the cell (the fill handle).
- Drag down or across to copy; double-click the handle to fill down next to existing data.
Continue a series
- Enter the first two values of a sequence (1, 2 or Jan, Feb) in adjacent cells.
- Select both cells, then drag the fill handle—Sheets extends the pattern.
- To fill dates by month or weekday, type the first two dates in the pattern, then drag.
Smart Fill for text patterns
- In a new column, type one or two output examples (e.g. extracting last names from a Full Name column).
- Sheets shows a Smart Fill suggestion banner; press Ctrl/Cmd + Enter to accept.
- Or trigger explicitly via Data → Smart Fill (or Ctrl + Shift + Y).
Tips
- Smart Fill works best with consistent source data; clean column headers first.
- Drag with the fill handle while holding Ctrl/Cmd to copy without continuing a series.
