Get hands-on help with Vocordia
Employees can follow this guide step by step - or open a ticket and wait for support.
Or they can finish inside the app.
Vocordia gives voice and cursor guidance directly inside the tools they already use - just say what they need, and Vocordia shows them where to click, step by step, without leaving the window.
How to Create Notion Templates
Notion has two kinds of templates: **template buttons** that duplicate a page on click, and **database templates** that prefill new rows in a database.
Create a page template button
- On any page, type
/templateand choose Template button. - Click Configure to set the button label and the contents that get duplicated.
- Build the template content underneath; clicking the button creates a copy below it.
Create a database template
- Open a database in any view.
- Click the down arrow next to the New button at the top right → + New template.
- Build the page contents and properties—every new row created with this template inherits them.
Set a default template
- In a database, click the down arrow next to New again.
- Hover the template you want as default, click the three-dot menu → Set as default.
- Choose whether to apply the default to all views or just the current one.
Reuse and share templates
Right-click any page → Duplicate to copy a template into another workspace. Public templates can be shared via Share → Publish to web so others can duplicate them in.
Try it faster with guidance
Skip menu hunting—let Vocordia guide you through it with voice and on-screen cursor guidance so you can ship a template once and stop rebuilding pages.
