Get hands-on help with Vocordia
Employees can follow this guide step by step - or open a ticket and wait for support.
Or they can finish inside the app.
Vocordia gives voice and cursor guidance directly inside the tools they already use - just say what they need, and Vocordia shows them where to click, step by step, without leaving the window.
How to Sign a Google Doc
Google Docs offers a built-in eSignature feature for many Workspace plans, plus simpler options like inserting a drawn or image-based signature for personal use.
Use the built-in eSignature feature
- Open the document and go to Tools → eSignature.
- Click Get started and add fields like Signature, Initials, Date, and Name by dragging them onto the page.
- Add a signer by email and click Request signature—Google emails them a link to sign.
Available on most Workspace plans; if you don''t see it, use one of the options below.
Draw a signature with the Drawing tool
- Place the cursor where the signature should appear.
- Go to Insert → Drawing → + New.
- Pick the Line tool → Scribble, draw the signature with your trackpad/mouse, then click Save and Close.
- Resize the inserted drawing to fit the line.
Insert a saved signature image
- Sign on paper, take a photo, and remove the background (many free tools do this in one click).
- In Docs go to Insert → Image → Upload from computer and pick the file.
- Set wrap to In line and resize to match the signature line.
Try it faster with guidance
Skip hunting through menus—let Vocordia guide you through it with voice and on-screen cursor guidance so you can sign and send without losing focus.
